FAQs

Can third-party resin be used with the HALOT R6?

Yes. The HALOT R6 supports compatible 405 nm UV-curing resin. Exposure settings should be adjusted for the specific resin, color and layer height being used.

Does the HALOT R6 require bed leveling?

Yes. The build plate should be manually leveled during initial setup. Re-leveling may be necessary if the plate has been loosened or models stop adhering properly to the build plate.

Can the printer work without Wi-Fi?

Yes. Sliced files can be transferred and printed with a USB drive. Wi-Fi is optional for HALOT BOX network printing, Creality Cloud and app-based workflows; wireless connections require a 2.4 GHz network

Which slicing software is compatible?

Creality recommends HALOT BOX, and the official manual also lists CHITUBOX support. Resin parameters should be matched to the material before printing.

What should be done after a print is completed?

The model should be carefully removed while wearing protective gloves, washed to remove uncured resin and then UV-cured. The resin vat and release film should also be checked and cleaned before the next print.
