FAQs

Is filament included with the printer?

No. Filament shown in the product images is for demonstration only. Creality RFID filament is sold separately.

Can I use third-party or non-RFID filament?

Yes. Non-RFID filament can be used normally. Its material type, color and print parameters can be entered manually through the printer interface or Creality Print..

Can TPU filament be loaded into the CFS?

No. Flexible TPU should not be fed through the CFS because it may bend inside the filament path and cause loading or retraction failures. Follow Creality’s TPU guide and use the external spool holder where applicable.

Does the CFS actively dry filament?

No. The CFS is a moisture-resistant storage system rather than a heated filament dryer. It uses an airtight cover and replaceable desiccant, while the screen displays the internal temperature and humidity.

Can cardboard filament spools be used in the CFS?

Creality Hyper Series cardboard spools are compatible. Avoid warped cardboard spools or spools with rough, untreated edges, as they may rotate poorly or become stuck inside the CFS.
