The Creality K1 is a fully enclosed CoreXY 3D printer designed for high-speed prototyping, creative projects and reliable everyday printing. Its compact enclosed structure, dual-gear direct-drive extruder and automated calibration system deliver a practical balance of speed, ease of use and consistent print quality.

FAQs

Is the AI camera included with the K1?

No. The AI camera is an optional accessory and is not included with the standard K1 package. It can be added for remote monitoring, time-lapse recording and compatible AI detection functions.

Can the K1 be upgraded for multi-color printing?

Yes. The K1 supports the CFS-C through the dedicated K1 Series upgrade kit. The current CFS-C has four filament slots and supports one CFS-C unit per printer; additional CFS-C units cannot currently be connected for 16-color printing. Some older K1 hotend configurations may also require an integrated-nozzle hotend upgrade.

Can third-party filament be used?

Yes. The K1 uses standard 1.75 mm filament and supports materials including PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, PET and other compatible filaments. Third-party materials can be used, but temperature, flow and speed settings may need to be adjusted manually for reliable results.

What happens if the filament runs out or the power is interrupted?

The K1 includes filament run-out detection and power-loss recovery. Printing can be paused when filament runs out, and an interrupted job may be resumed after power is restored.

Can the K1 print without a Wi-Fi connection?

Yes. Print files can be transferred using a USB drive, so Wi-Fi is not required for normal printing. Wi-Fi can be used for network file transfer, remote printing and supported online functions.
