FAQs

Does the K2 have active chamber heating?

No. The K2 has a fully enclosed chamber but does not include an active chamber heater. Active heating up to 60°C is available only on the K2 Pro and K2 Plus.

Can TPU filament be used with the CFS?

No. Flexible TPU should not be fed through the CFS because it may bend inside the filament path and cause loading or retraction failures. Use the external spool holder and disable CFS when printing suitable flexible materials.

Can third-party or non-RFID filament be used?

Yes. Non-RFID and third-party filament can be used, but the filament brand, material type, name and color must be entered manually. Creality RFID filament information can be read automatically by the CFS.

Does the K2 include automatic flow calibration?

No. The standard K2 does not include the nozzle AI camera or automatic flow-rate calibration found on the K2 Pro and K2 Plus. It includes a built-in 720p chamber camera instead.

Does the CFS actively dry filament?

No. The CFS uses replaceable desiccant and an internal temperature and humidity sensor to help keep already-dried filament protected from moisture. Wet filament should be dried separately before being placed in the CFS.

The 10W version is suitable for general engraving and lighter cutting applications. The 40W version provides higher laser power for faster processing and stronger cutting performance on compatible materials. Laser functions are not included with the H2C AMS Combo or Vortek Utility Bundle.
