FAQs

What is the difference between the K2 Pro and K2 Pro Combo?

The K2 Pro includes the printer and standard accessories. The K2 Pro Combo additionally includes one four-slot CFS for up to four-color printing. Up to four CFS units can be connected for a maximum of 16 colors. Additional CFS units and filament are sold separately.

Can TPU or engineering filaments be loaded through the CFS?

TPU and other flexible filaments should not be fed through the CFS because they may bend and cause loading or retraction failures. Very stiff or brittle materials such as PPA-CF and PPS-CF may also break inside the filament path. Use the external spool holder for materials that are not compatible with the CFS.

Can third-party or non-RFID filament be used?

Yes. Third-party and non-RFID filament can be used by manually entering the material type, brand and color. Compatible Creality RFID filament is recognized automatically by the CFS.

Does the CFS actively dry wet filament?

No. The CFS is not a heated filament dryer. It uses two replaceable desiccant compartments to help maintain a dry storage environment and protect filament that has already been dried.

Does the K2 Pro support 5 GHz Wi-Fi?

No. The K2 Pro supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only. When connecting the printer wirelessly, make sure the router’s 2.4 GHz network is enabled rather than using a 5 GHz-only network.
