FAQs

Does the standard 20W version include the 2W infrared laser?

No. The Falcon A1 Pro 20W includes only the 20W blue diode laser module. Select the 20W + 2W IR Dual Laser Kit to receive the additional infrared module. 

What is the difference between the two laser modules?

The 20W blue diode laser is designed for cutting and engraving materials such as wood, bamboo, leather, fabric, cardboard and compatible acrylic. The 2W 1064 nm infrared laser is intended for fine marking on metals and plastics, including stainless steel, aluminum, brass, gold, silver and titanium alloy.

Can the Falcon A1 Pro engrave tumblers and other cylindrical objects?

Yes, but an optional compatible rotary kit and heightening supports are required. The rotary kit connects to the machine’s dedicated interface and is operated through the rotary-processing mode in the software.

Which engraving software is supported?

The machine supports Falcon Design Space, LightBurn and LaserGRBL on Windows and macOS. Falcon Design Space provides the complete camera-assisted positioning workflow; LightBurn currently does not support the built-in camera functions and requires the official A1 Pro device configuration for autofocus.

Can the machine be used safely indoors?

The Falcon A1 Pro has a Class 1 fully enclosed structure, lid-open stopping, flame detection, tilt/drop protection and airflow monitoring. However, the exhaust system should still be connected to suitable ventilation, and the machine should never be left unattended while engraving or cutting.
